Welcome to our new Blog Page
Since 1997, we have made major efforts to document the work and outreach of Elder William Commanda and Circle of All Nations in research, reports, blogs, PowerPoint presentations, photos and videos. Between 2000 and 2014, much of the information was posted in our two Circle of All Nations websites; when technology limited our use of the second site, we shared our writings regularly via Constant Contact E-Newsletter outreach to interested colleagues, and we also posted the items in the Circle of All Nations and William Commanda sections of our sister website, www.asinabka.com. In addition, we have been very active on Facebook since its inception and have also shared much information through five pages! The global pandemic led us to host the first free Facebook live video international online conference in May 2020, the 20th anniversary of the Circle of All Nations Millennium International Peace Gathering, and this was followed by many more conversational and informational bridge building live video events over the past year. These are available under the video bar in our Circle of All Nations Facebook page as well as on our Circle of All Nations YouTube Channel

Finally, the new landing page takes you to our Cybercartographical Digital Atlas which holds reference to our academic research.
This new website alerts you to the highlights of our work to date and provides links to a vast body of archival materials and to our photo and video library. But the primary focus of this site is our Blog Page. Work on this commenced in 2020, as did the Corona Virus Pandemic and Global Isolation; in our early May 2020 blog, we reflect on Grandfather’s Commanda’s prophetic vision – and it is frightening to note how the past 20 months have evolved. Then on the 10th anniversary of his death, the massive tropical storm Isaias alerted us anew to the environmental crisis and climate change, again another critical concern that Grandfather worked so hard to alert us to in this lamentable Age of the Anthropocene, and the Isaias August 2020 blog reflects on this subject. Our October 2021 blog leads us into our new work and reflections. We promise to keep this updated regularly!
Circle of All Nations draws the year to a close with the launch of our new WEBSITE and a special acknowledgement of students who have contributed to the academic animation of the work of Grandfather William Commanda!

Circle of All Nations is pleased to have engaged in La Grande Marche pour la Protection des Forêts. Patrick Gravel and Jolyane Lamontangue, the primary organizers of this six week walk, participated in the annual Circle of All Nations Gatherings hosted by Elder William Commanda over many years.
The following post resurfaced via the Facebook algorithms on October 21, 2021, and I remembered that just a couple of weeks ago, September 17, 2021, I had listened in on a webinar at St. Francis Xavier University hosted by Dr. L. Jane McMillan, PhD, Professor Department of Anthropology on the Marshall Ruling and state of Fisheries in Nova Scotia.
