ASINABKA SACRED CHAUDIERE SITE
The Asinabka project is a vision initiated by William Commanda, founder of the Circle of All Nations, to protect and revitalize the sacred area around Chaudière Falls. For thousands of years, this site has been an important spiritual gathering place for Indigenous peoples. The project proposes transforming the area into a national Indigenous and peace-building centre that includes a cultural and educational space, a historic interpretation centre, public parkland, and facilities for dialogue and conferences. The vision emphasizes respect for the Earth, reconciliation, cultural understanding, and environmental stewardship while honoring the deep historical and spiritual significance of the land.
